General Tips
- Spicy or highly seasoned foods go best with sweet wines to balance
the flavors
- With tomato sauces or citrus flavors, Zinfandel tends to go
nicely
- Cabernet and Merlot balance the high fat content of steak and
pork chops
- Turkey dinner goes well with Pinot Noir, Gamay, Sparkling Wine,
Sauvignon Blanc
- For dessert, look for wines that are actually sweeter than the
dessert: port is heaven with chocolate.
